Looks like we have to wait a few more days for the forum to be ready (so I can recreate it again -- looks like everyone has to re-register, so sorry!! T_T). Here's a quote from the forum admins:

We are currently in the process of moving everything to the new server cluster (About 70% done at the moment) and expect this to be finished either late tonight or early tomorrow morning.

Was trying to get on the forums since last night ("please wait 5-10 minutes as we transfer servers" it said). Now I get a message saying it was removed!! >_<'' Here is what happened according to them:

I would like to apologize for the forums who lost data over the past few hours. We experienced a hard drive failure on our main database server. This was an unfortunate incident that could not have been avoided by either our host or our administrators.

We've done everything we can to recover the data, unfortunately most of the data was recovered corrupt. Forums that weren't moved to the new server will be reverted to a prior backup. Any non-existent forums will need to be re-created.

We have taken measures to stop such service interruptions, as well as the slowness/downtime you have been seeing over the past few weeks. We will be using a clustered network solution, in case of one server failing there will be others to take its place. Therefore, what happened last night will never be able to happen again.

We expect to have the network upgrade completed by Monday, July 23rd. The new server network --which sets the stage for our phpBB3 release-- boosts total redundancy in almost all areas, increased processing power for faster load speeds, and a 24/7 backup system in place to make sure your data is always safe. In addition, we will have the backup mod online within a few days so customers can safely download a forum backup to their computer.

Currently trying to recreate the forum, so I'll post again with the status soon! We apologize for the inconvenience. >_<''

Story Overview:

Ouran High School Host Club is a romantic comedy written and drawn by Bisco Hatori. This story follows the life of a scholarship student named Fujioka Haruhi and her adventures with the Host Club of the Private Ouran Institute. The Host Club was established two years ago when Suou Tamaki first entered High School.

One day, Haruhi wanders around the school looking for a quiet place to study. She walks into the Third Music Room and finds the Host Club. There, she is overwhelmed by the six handsome boys and accidently knocks over a vase valued at $80 000. To pay for this huge debt, Haruhi has to work for the Host Club. At first, the club mistakens her for a boy...

Haruki lives with her father in a small apartment. Her mother passed away when she was young. Growing up, she has taken on a lot of the housework. She learned to cook and shop. Her father is bisexual and has a career in a gay bar dressed as a woman. He cares and worries for her, but she almost give him no room to worry. Haruhi's father's nickname is Ranka [female nickname] and he is in constant contact with Kyouya about the news of the Host Club.

Hatori: [Not very materialistic. For example, she really wants a laptop but doesn't lose sleep over it. She hopes to win a raffle at the marketplace or something like that. It's not that her fashion sense is poor, but she will throw on whatever's handy, no matter how crummy it looks. It's fun to draw her various boy'girl aspects. She was designed, as I said, "cuter cuter", and became a heroine with enormous eyes, sorry. I will gradually tone that down. *sweatdrop*]

Tamaki is half French and half Japanese. He lived in France until he was 14 with his mother. His mother had a weak body, so he spent much of his childhood by her bedside, comforting and playing with her. His father is the owner of a vast industry so he is one of the richest people in the school. His father is also the chairman of Ouran. Tamaki has lots of family trouble because his grandmother from his dad's side does not approve of his wife. Therefore, making the grandmother hate him since he is the woman's child. When Tamaki's mother's family's company went backrupt, his grandmother said she would provide finacial support for her. However, Tamaki must go to Japan alone. That is why Tamaki now resides in Japan, not knowing where his mother is. Even through all these, Tamaki is hopelessly optimistic and turn all events to his advantage. Tamaki's father is a lot like Tamaki. He may be a bit harder to read, but he is cheerful and likes playing jokes, and especially teasing his only son!

Hatori: [An emotional narcissistic man who cries easily. Loves historical plays and anime dripping with human emotions. He appears quite club with the girls, but he really means what he says. To him, all girls are pretty, and he's at most self-important when he's charming them giddy.I created him to be "narcissistic", but as the series progressed he has turned into an annoying idiot. He is the character who's most out of control, nobody can stop him now...so take him as you find him. *sweatdrop* There are many aspects of him that have yet to be revealed, but that will come later.]

Host Club Vice-President: Ootori Kyouya ♂

Siblings: Two older brother (Akito and the oldest one) and one older sister

Because of Kyouya's brothers, he always thought he would not be able to take over his father's business since it's his duty to do all he can and not overshadow his brothers. However Tamaki made him realize that he should do anything he wants. He always tries to please his father so that one day he can take over the business. But his father is hard to please, and very strict.

Hatori: [He is calculating but not greedy. He likes to move things forward according to careful planning, collecting profits along the way. Despite what he says, he's good friends with Tamaki. If "Host Club"'s first chapter had been 40 pages instead of 50, he might have been cute from the cast. (Yikes!) Since the rest of the members are the way they are, he is invaluable for maintaining order and offering explanations. Good thing it was 50 pages, Kyouya...(I mean for me! *cry*) His fashion sense is not "intellectual" at all.]

Hitachiin Hikaru (Older) ♂

Kaoru and Hikaru grew up without much of their parents' presence, since they were busy. Therefore, it's made them depend too much on each other. They used to think that everyone else in the world was stupid. Before the Host Club, they didn't talk to anyone, had no friends and only cared for each other. Through their time with the Host Club, they have opened up a lot. Now they understand that the world is full of other people too!

Hatori: [They're not really partial to spicy foods, so much as being contrary by eating whatever's "so fiery that nobody else dares try it." They do love maple syrup, though. Perhaps not the most ideal dining companions. One wore for their personalities is "dry." Very avid about the things they are interested in but quite apathetic toward things they are not. Unlike Tamaki, they are wholly calculating in their customer relations. They think women are easy. Still, they're just kids, so they sometimes do unexpected things. (example -> in "Hunny's Bun-Bun," they were "pretending to be scared" but in the end, were genuinely upset. (laugh) Just like kids who fake tears, only to wind up bawling their heads off.) I like these guys, and I'm finally able to draw them confidently.]

Haninozuka Nitsukuni ♂
also known as Hunny or Honey

Height: 4 feet and 9 inches (can shrink at will, haha)

Sign: Pisces

Blood Type: AB

Favourite Subjects: Math

Favourite Foods: Cake, strawberries, with unexpected craving for spicy things. (does not like carrots)

Habitual phrase: "Neeeeeee" and putting "--ne" at the end of a sentence. Sometimes says "--kane" like a middle-aged man. In Japanese, Hunny ends sentences with the equivalent of "isn't it?" or "right?"

Siblings: 1 brother (Chika)

Hunny has a bunny that he always carry with him. It's name is Bun-Bun [Usa-Chan in Japanese]. Legend has it that his favourite grandmother made it for him, who is now dead. Hunny is short and loves to eat sweets, especially cake. He's a cute blond boy that takes naps during the day. He was the captain of the Karate Club but he quit that for the Host Club.

Hatori: [His niche is "cute in an almost illegal way." But when you look closely, you can't really tell if he's cute, weird or calculated. I made him the oldest member in Episode 1, yet in Episode 3, Hunny is Pisces and Mori is Taurus, so now Mori is the oldest member...sorry about that! (WAAAAH! To tie up loose ends, I thought I'd say, "Hunny was held back one year" but decided not to.) I was asked, "does Bun-Bun have a name?" then I realized for the first time that his name is just "Bun-Bun." (laugh) ]

Morinozaku Takashi ♂

Favourite Subjects: Geography and Japanese History

Favourite Foods: Oriental (like fermante natto soybeans)

Siblings: 1 brother (Satoshi)

Hunny and Mori are cousins. The Morinozuka family has been serving the Haninozuka family for many generations. Thus, it lead to a marriage merge two generations back. However, Mori still acts as Hunny's servant. It must run in the blood. Mori is a part of the Kendo Club.

Hatori: ["Strong, yet kind." Picture a Siberian husky...He's just like one (laugh). By the way, Hunny's like a Pomeranian.

He's in the Kendo Club and only joined the Host Club because Hunny did. He seems to be having some fun, so I think he's okay with it (laugh). The pronounciation of "Morinozaku" is the same as "Mori" [Forest], but when he is called "Mori," the "Mo" is emphasized. Sorry for the confusion. *sweatdrop* If I leave him alone, he winds up being a "quiet, sober-faced fellow," so he makes Hatori groan a lot. But his love is vast (laugh), so there's at least an outside chance of Haruhi and Mori becoming a couple.]

There are four letters, A, B, C and D. Each letter represents the class you are in. What determines your class is your family lineage and grades. Because of this, classes tend to have the same people every year.

C = 50

Therefore, most people of class D are of the Yakuza (Japanese Mafia) family.

Because of the need of the manga, there are no graduations, therefore no advancing up a grade so these classes stay the same. Many springs and summers past. Although Hatori says at the rate this manga is going, there will need to be a graduation soon.
